Dear Community,
Instinct kicked in when I was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. Since then, I’ve been processing all the lessons I learned, trying to go deeper into the meaning of it all, wanting to understand the choices I made that saved my life. I realized I didn’t want to suffer, but rather celebrate the journey I was about to undertake. Heading into my treatment, I was fully aware that dying was just as probable, even more so, than living, and that awareness inspired me to make every day count, no matter what.
My advice for anyone who is recently diagnosed: ask yourself the question, “How do you want to experience cancer? How do you want to experience chemo?” Because it’s not up to cancer, or chemo, it’s up to YOU. I believe we can create the happy endings we desire with love and gratitude as our swords. Walking step by step, day by day, doing our best to enjoy the ride will make the ride that much better. And just so we’re clear, death is inevitable for all of us. Cancer shined a light on death, and in turn, my life got a lot brighter.
As I started chemo, I wanted to be as happy as possible. In order to do that, I had to believe cancer was a gift from the Universe, and would guide me towards my end goals: a life full of purpose, peace, and joy.
That mindset led me into a desire to face my past, have compassion for my depression, and understand my core issue… I didn’t love myself. Cancer was a wake-up call. I realized my body wasn’t turning against me, it was begging for my attention. Healing emotionally, physically, and spiritually was the only way to turn triple-negative cancer into a zero negative life, bringing me back to who I am and what life is all about…LOVE.
The LOVE Collection was born from this realization. Each piece in the collection, from the LOVE Tote to the LOVE Crossbody and the LOVE Clutch, is designed to be a reminder of the power of self-love and gratitude. These intentional accessories are not just about style; they are about embracing love, gratitude, and trusting the transformative journey of healing.
I wanted to touch those struggling with life, support my fellow humans, inspire healing, and connect through fashion. I envisioned these products as personal “Love notes,” carrying prayers and intentions from my heart to yours. It’s a gentle reminder: YOU are special, LIFE (and all it brings) is precious, and LOVE is the most powerful choice we can extend to each other…and to ourselves.
Xoxo Jenn
